Jesse utilizes the green bottle method, coined by Alexis J. Cunningfolk, to implement a tiered pricing system that aims to enhance utility, equity, and diversity, allowing Vedic meditation to be accessible by all. Embracing individuals from all backgrounds, regardless of financial circumstances, this approach is inclusive and welcoming to all learners.
The sliding scale approach is tailored to accommodate individuals at various stages in life, assisting in determining a contribution that aligns with their financial means. To ensure the success of the sliding scale, honesty, transparency, and accountability are essential components.
Investment Options.
It is crucial to acknowledge the value of compensating teachers while also recognizing the diverse economic situations and privileges of students. Prior to determining your contribution, review the breakdown of the sliding scale for an option that suits you.
Be aware that each course option has limited spots. Choosing the lowest price when you can afford more restricts access for those who truly need financial flexibility. Consider seeking support from family, partners, or friends before using sliding scale resources, as this helps maintain opportunities for others. The ‘actual cost’ of the course is $880. If your are selecting another option, be aware that there are only a few spaces per course for these.
