Jesse Connally is an Indian-Australian Vedic meditation teacher who is passionate about sharing Vedic knowledge & wisdom, making it relevant for modern life.

What Jesse teaches.

Vedic Meditation is a simple, natural, and effortless technique that allows the mind to settle into its most silent and powerful state. From this deep rest, the body rejuvenates, stress dissolves, and life begins to flow with greater ease. Vedic wisdom exclaims that our true nature is one of peace, joy, creativity, and love. These are not just ideas, they are the natural expressions of a fully awake mind and body. This is the purpose of meditation. With a clear mind and a vibrant body, we find ourselves naturally more fulfilled. In that fulfillment, we give our best to the world around us.

“Meditate and enjoy. The purpose of life is the expansion of happiness. Happiness is the nature of the self. As one progresses in the practice of meditation, the awareness expands, and one naturally radiates happiness to others.”

-Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

Jesse’s story

My journey into meditation began during a time when I felt stressed, unfulfilled, and struggled to navigate the ups and downs of daily life. I had just started university, and was feeling overwhelmed by the bigness of the next phase I was about to step in to. I had habituated feeling stressed to such a degree that feeling stressed felt normal. This was having an adverse affect on my health and well-being. Whether I realised it or not, I was searching for happiness in the wrong places. And when I did find happiness, it was always short-lived.

In desperation to find a sense of peace amongst my inner-turmoil, I tried many things. It was in this effort to still my busy mind that I came to the practice of Vedic Meditation. Prior to learning, I didn't know much about meditation. I had tried a few different styles of meditation such as contemplation and concentration that helped to some degree, but I felt as if something were still missing.

It wasn't until I discovered and learned Vedic meditation from a friend, where I experienced a silence and depth that I had never felt before. One of the first things I noticed when I learned to mediate was how stressed my previous self was! As stress slowly started to unwind I noticed a gradual sense of peace and balance emerge. Along with this profound silence, came deep deep rest. It completely changed my life. I felt a profound shift in both my mental and physical health. I started to feel happy for no reason, I felt free from the confines of my own stress.

I was more myself, I felt light, less anxious, and more capable in my daily life. No longer did life seem scary. This transformative experience inspired me to delve deeper into this ancient practice and share its benefits with others. Over the past few years I have had the beautiful privilege to study Vedic knowledge in Australia and India, and learn in community all around the world.

I am passionate about helping others grow, and creating safe spaces for learning and communing. It is my sincere wish as a teacher to contribute towards a better future, and a society where community, connection, and growth are at its foundations. My hope is to share Vedic wisdom, and make it relevant for modern living, inspiring you to live naturally, and be of service to all of life.

“As Jesse explained, we are conditioned from an early age that to be more in life, we need to do more...however the practice of Vedic Meditation asks us to invert that, enabling us to achieve more by doing less. As someone with adult ADHD who runs two small businesses stress management has always been a challenge for me. But through this course, I’ve gained a simple yet powerful tool to find calm and clarity in my daily life. If you’re curious about meditation, I highly recommend reaching out to Jesse—whether you're a complete beginner or looking to deepen your practice, it’s an experience that can truly be life-changing.”
